Special Events

Michabelle Inn is the perfect place for weddings, anniversary parties, bridal showers, teas, dinners, luncheons and special events of any type from 20 to 350 people. Groups of 50 or more will be placed in the Pavilion (Saturday evening minimum group size 130); groups of 20-45 will be placed in the main house dining rooms.

The restaurant is open by prior reservations only for groups of 20 or more. Michabelle will accommodate private parties (teas, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, formal or casual receptions, etc.) and intimate dinners from 20 people to 45 people in the restaurant located in the main house. Lunch and dinner menus can be customized to suit your needs.

Weddings

Michabelle has an established wedding clientele and offers wedding ceremonies for $800 indoors or outdoors. Weather permitting, outdoor ceremonies are conducted in the front grounds of the main house.  Ceremonies may also be conducted inside our Pavilion in the center hall. Ceremony length is one hour. Please make reservations for rehearsal times. Wedding photography on the premises is ONLY permitted for clients who have booked wedding receptions at Michabelle Inn. All other photography must have PRIOR WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION by the owners. No exceptions. This policy is strictly enforced.

Wedding receptions are held in the Pavilion for 50 to 350 people at $30 per person including tax and service (alcohol not included). Saturday evening wedding receptions have a minimum of 130 people. No outside catering services are allowed except for wedding cakes. We have a variety of bar services available in packages that can be tailored to suit any budget. According to state law, all alcoholic beverages must be provided and served by Michabelle. We also offer 150 parking spaces on the grounds. Standard reception time is limited to 3 hours. Only flowers, decorations and wedding cake can be brought in from outside vendors.

Michabelle requires a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit in order to book a wedding or large event. The deposits are as follows: $1,000 to reserve the date. Layaway plans are available. The balance of the bill is due 7 days before the event. Deposits are applied towards the balance of the bill. Returned checks or failure to pay remaining charges are subject to fees and legal action.

Desserts

Variety of cakes (provided for non-wedding events).
Wedding cake professionally cut and served by our staff.

Hot Food-Entrees

  • Sliced roast beef with red wine and mushroom sauce

  • Grilled chicken with Jamaican spices

  • Sliced roasted pork loin with Creole mustard sauce

  • Fresh made meatballs

  • Fish Court Bouillon

  • Seafood Pasta

Hot Food-Side Dishes

  • All of the following are included:
  • "Au gratin" potatoes

  • Jambalaya

  • Mixed vegetables

  • Gumbo


Please note that other than for the wedding cake, we do not allow outside food or beverages in any of our facilities. There is no takeout/takeaway service for food or beverage. Only wedding cake can be removed from the premises.
